ActionAid gala Call My Wine Bluff

The Call My wine Bluff event which was organised by ActionAid, took place at Quaglino’s restaurant, on November 19th to raise money to help transform the lives of poor people round the world. Two celebrity teams led by Emma Thompson and Stephen Merchant aimed to dupe each other and the audience into believing a fictional story about the wines they were tasting. Stephen Merchant and his team Michael Ball and Jan Ravens emerged victorious having out bluffed Emma Thompson, Lee Mack and Shappi Khorsandi. It was all in a good cause and £163,000 was raised on the night. The celebrity guests including Olly Smith all received a bottle of Forget-Chemin Special Club 2004 -donated by Champagne Warehouse- as a thank you for their efforts.
