Champagne G. Tribaut

Champagne G. Tribaut is situated in Hautvillers; one of the most famous villages in the Champagne region, made so by Dom Perignon who was based at the Abbey located close to the house of G. Tribaut.
The view from the Champagne House is wonderful. They own 12 hectares of vines in the Premier Cru village and here they grow all three grape varieties to make their amazing champagnes. The vineyard and the champagnes are tended by five members of the family who have also opened a small museum of viticultural tools in the heart of Hautvillers.

This Champagne House is about as traditional as you can get. There are no gyropalates at Tribaut! (see Fizz facts for more info). Once the bottles have matured gently in the cellar, they are turned by hand and then disgorged by hand, so keen are the Tribauts to maintain their heritage.

You will always a get a warm welcome at Tribaut – with Valerie Coudrain-Tribaut keen to sit you down at the tasting table to sample the latest products, whatever the time of day! They describe themselves as a warm, welcoming family, passionate about their art, and we have to agree they weave a great deal of artistry into their champagnes.

Their champagnes consistently make it into the Guide Hachette, the French Wine Lovers Bible.
