100% Chardonnay

This champagne is on the border between an Extra Brut and a Brut champagne as it only has 5g of sugar per litre. However it does not have the dryness of an extra brut. It comes from the Grand Cru village of Verzenay and is a subtle blend of reserve wines from the chardonnay harvests. Golden green in colour, it's floral on the nose with white fleshed fruit flavours on the palate. It is well balanced full bodied and has a pleasing freshness.
Makes a great aperitif or try with fish or seafood
