Jean-Paul Morel Carte Noir
Jean-Paul Morel Carte Noir
Very toasty, with red fruit flavours.
Press: The Independent
The palate is initially bready, running into redcurrants & strawberries. It has a long and rich aftertaste with a great balance.
It is a real connoisseur champagne. Please do not judge it on the first taste, give it the opportunity to work its magic on you. It has certainly wowed a lot of customers recently.
It can be drunk alone but is great with food such as chicken or fish dishes.

"Authentic, individual, artisanal champagne from Jean-Paul Morel, head of the co-operative in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay, most of whose grapes go to the big names. This is what he does with the remainder: aged for four years to allow the mellow, yeasty flavours to develop, this has real depth and the body to stand up to strong-flavoured nibbles or first courses." Terry Kirby- The Independent
Customer email to us: "Just wanted to let you know we had various bottles of champagne over new year including Moët, Lanson, Le Grand Anee, Veuve and a £120 Dom Perignon and the consensus was a clear win for the JP Morel. I will be ordering more that's for sure." Mr I Clarkson, Durham.
