Refreshing on the finish- delicious!
The Amorino was a massive hit at York Food Festival back in September. All who tried it were bowled over by its fruitiness. It has amazing flavours of strawberries, it isn't sweet or cloying, just fresh, fruity and very very moreish!
Producer info:
The estate of Vignarosa dates back to the 18th century. Its name came from the colour of the manor house which at the time was pink and it retains a similar hue to this day. Vignarosa lies in the east of Veneto in the Treviso hills; the area renowned for Prosecco production.
Vignarosa are very aware that although they are in a prestigious area there is lots of care needed to produce quality wines. Their aim is to produce less wine but of a higher quality. Creating wines that have more distinct flavours that are authentic to the place where the grapes are grown; is something close to Vignarosa’s heart.

Amorino is a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Raboso grapes from the 2009 harvest.
Marinotti-Charmat method was used and the Amorino was in the tank for a minimum of 30 days.
