Triolet Réserve
Triolet Réserve
Baked apples flavours for those of you who prefer their fruity champagnes a little more rich.
This is just one of our collection of medal winning champagnes.
This is a lovely bright golden champagne has lots of bubbles and we liken it to an apple pie in a glass! There are rich apple flavours and hints of biscuit. What's more it won approval at the International Wine Challenge 2010 scooping a bronze medal.
Producer info:
Thierry Triolet runs a small family House which only produces 40,000 bottles of champagne a year fom the11 hectares of vines he owns in Bethon. He also sells some of his grapes to Krug and Billecart Salmon.
The Triolet family love & nurture their champagnes right from the start, tending the vines, harvesting their own grapes, pressing and storing them, then ‘assembling’ their champagnes. Thierry and his wife Frédérique are proud of the full traceability this gives their consumers.
The technical stuff!
This champagne is a Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) and has a dosage of 10g/l. It has spent 3 years ageing in Thierry's cellars and was disgorged autumn 2011 so it's good to drink until at least Spring 2013 - store on its side somwhere cool and dark.
